We’re also governed by North Carolina law, which upholds confidentiality in mental health treatment. Under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 122C-52, client information is not considered a public record and may only be disclosed as allowed under G.S. 122C-53 through G.S. 122C-56.

Although NC does not mandate a "duty to warn" (like Tarasoff), ethical judgment may guide disclosure in serious circumstances.

Session Cancellations
We respect your time and ask the same in return:
- Couples counseling, individual counseling, and pre-marital sessions require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule without charge.
- Intensives require at least 7 days notice to cancel or reschedule without charge.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments will be billed at the full session rate.
